"Not being able to fully understand God is frustrating, but it is ridiculous for us to think we have the right to limit God to something we are capable of comprehending.  If my mind is the size of a soda can and God is the size of all the oceans, it would be stupid for me to say He is only the small amount of water I can scoop into my little can." ---Francis Chan in Crazy Love

"Many of our difficulties come when we complicate the things of God with our own thoughts, ideas, opinions and views.  The first lesson for all dreamers is that you must receive God's promise with childlike faith. So, go to bed; sleep well; dream large — and wake up in the morning as a kid again." ---James Ryle

"Simplicity is the secret to seeing things clearly.  You cannot think through spiritual confusion to make things clear; to make things clear, you must obey.  Spiritual confusion can only be conquered through obedience. As soon as we obey, we have discernment." ---Oswald Chambers

"I look upon all the world as my parish; thus far I mean, that, in whatever part of it I am, I judge it meet, right, and my bounden duty, to declare unto all that are willing to hear, the glad tidings of salvation.  This is the work which I know God has called me to; and sure I am, that his blessing attends it." ---John Wesley, Monday, June 11, 1739

“To me it is important to express feelings in words.  It is not enough to hope that by intuition and hunches people will figure out how we feel in our hearts.  Words can make a powerful difference.  At my age I am still trying to learn how to use them wisely—either spoken or in print.  Sharing memories seems to inspire us to express the deeper feelings of the soul with one another.” ---Walter Albritton in Life is Short So Laugh Often, Live Fully and Love Deeply
